Surrender to Chant Better

Today I want to share with you all the experiences I had with the Holy names. I have heard in a lecture a couple of days ago about the importance of being grateful - we all know that depending on the Lord is our choice to develop pure love of God and for that we need to be phisically and emotionally protected by Krsna to go on with our service.

Chanting the Holy names sometimes requires a certain health capacity and enthusiasm to do it nicely, for that we depend on the Lord. I have been sick these days and noticed how hard it was to chant, so today thinking about it, after getting better I could see how we depend on Krsna even to serve Him properly. For sure we pass through these situations to develop more our relationship with Him, through praying, understanding He is our shelter and protector and also to surrender because there are some moments we can't do much and the only way we have is to depend and surrender to the Lord in order to get our problems solved. It's bad to notice that we still need to suffer to understand that Krsna is the Supreme - well at least I need that sometimes, and as I have read before these sufferings are mercy from the Lord cause they make me feel more connected to Him through prayer and dependence.
I can say that my chanting is better now, because Krsna is working on my heart the way He wants and I accept it. Tests are to make ourselves stronger to go on our spiritual lives and we should face them as mercy.
